Insight

A highly motivated individual is required to join a Loan Servicing Unit which provides Account Maintenance, Data Management, Relationship Management and Loan Documentation services to the relevant client(s).

You’ll ensure the timely and accurate performance of these services in compliance with all regulatory requirements, best practice, good corporate governance and company policies and procedures.

The day to day:

Responsible for account and facility set up and maintenance on the system of record, data management, validation and reporting of loan level and derivative information for each assigned portfolio.
Act as conduit for system maintenance requests, queries and correspondence between Asset Services and the client ensuring timely and accurate responses and an orderly flow of information.
Review loan documentation for critical elements and enter pertinent information onto the servicing system; including interest rate calculations, payment structure, trigger events etc.
Responsibility for reconciliation and reporting of cash, arrears, accrual and borrower exposure positions to ensure key issues are identified and escalated accordingly.
At pre-agreed intervals and / or as specified under Service Level Agreements, provide clients with bespoke reports detailing various aspects of relevant portfolio.
Respond to inquiries regarding the specific portfolios in a timely and professional manner to ensure complete customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
Ensure implementation of internal controls is sufficient to effectively manage risk and minimise the potential for operational loss.
Develop strong working relationships locally and with colleagues in other locations to ensure that a seamless and best in class service is maintained by the unit.
Assist in ensuring that a comprehensive, up to date register of process and procedure documentation is maintained
What’s required?

QFA or APA Loans is a prerequisite for this role
Experience of and ability to read and effectively interpret legal documentation.
Good working knowledge of loan set up and system maintenance requirements.
Working experience in data management, reconciliation, validation, and reporting.
Good working knowledge of loan documentation requirements with respect to different loan types
Strong analytical, organisational and time management skills with the ability to meet and manage strict deadlines
Excellent customer service focus and an ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) at all level
Exhibit a high degree of reliability and flexibility and a positive attitude and be counted on to participate as required.
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
