Mechanical Site Manager | London/Reading
Kirby Group is presently seeking interest for an experience Mechanical Site Manager to work on a confidential mission critical project in West London / Reading Direction initially on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As a Mechanical Site Manager you will be tasked with overseeing and managing the installation of all Mechanical systems including Piping, HVAC Ducting, BMS, and to oversee and manage commissioning activities of same.

Mechanical Site Manager Responsibilities

Supervision of all commissioning of Pipe Work, Ductwork, and equipment associated with the startup of all systems
Assisting with the compilation of all test packs and handover documentation
Preparation of all method statements risk assessments and safe plans of action
Responsible for the implementation of the agreed EHS construction plan
Management of all required trades and subcontractors
Coordination of all required handover documentation to validation
Responsibility for all construction aspects of the assigned projects
Responsibility for inspecting and monitoring construction activities to ensure that they are carried out in line with relevant specifications and procedures
Assume ownership of projects and work independently of project engineers using good organisational skills to coordinate construction activities such Mechanical, piping, BMS and HVAC
as a Mechanical Site Manager/Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating construction activities on site e.g safe systems or work, arranging safety induction and training, work permits, contractor resource allocation, construction punch lists and assist contractors with clarification and resolution of technical issues
Complete projects within the schedule constraints while maintaining a zero accident safety record
Management and direct supervision of all required trades subcontractors, scaffolding, HVAC, insulation, painting, carnage and haulage Necessary Requirements

10+ Years' Management experience at site level
Relevant trade qualification
Relevant experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects.
Data Centre experience will be advantageous
Commercial Awareness
The ability to multi-task and manage many priorities
Excellent communicator/strong interpersonal skills/communicates with impact
Excellent record keeper and administration skills
Identifies and achieves commercial value.
Innovates and leads in mechanical/technical activity and challenges.
Plans and effectively manages projects.
Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
